Moving across the country marked the start of a new chapter for our family. By living with intention and building a business
with purpose, I shaped a life centered on family and serving others.
The early days of my real estate career were not for the faint of heart. It was 2009— most properties were lender-owned or short-sales. I’d walk clients through homes with yards overrun by weeds, lingering animal smells inside and rooms that were left messy and uncared for. The listings were usually just tossed on the market in hopes someone would buy them. It wasn’t glamorous by any stretch, but I was working toward something greater.
This wasn’t my first experience in real estate. Back in California, I was just a semester shy of finishing my college degree in fine arts when my husband and I had our first child and our priorities completely shifted. I quit school and started working nights in restaurants, while my husband worked during the day. For a while, we were just passing by each other as one of us would come home and the other would leave for work. We were young and stretched thin, but we did everything we could to give our growing family a stable foundation.
Needing a change, a coworker brought me into the investment company he was working with and I started helping with
property acquisitions. That turned into four years of hands-on experience. I loved the strategy, the problem-solving and the challenge of turning something overlooked into something valuable.
Then, my husband enlisted in the military and we moved to North Carolina. He did two tours overseas while I stayed home with our growing family. I always knew I’d come back to real estate when the time was right.
After my husband finished his military service, we moved to Arizona for a job opportunity he had. We expected it to be short-term, but we fell in love with the area. As soon as our youngest at the time started kindergarten, I jumped into real estate.
The timing couldn’t have been worse, however. The market was flooded with distressed homes, and clients were scared, but I leaned into the challenge. What helped me stand out early on was being willing to go the extra mile. When a lot of listings were just being thrown onto the MLS with little prep, I was cleaning, staging, and applying my art and design background to ensure they looked great. Just because the market was down didn’t mean I was
going to put any less care into the details.
That consistency and attention to detail built trust. People kept recommending me and before I knew it, I had a strong referral-based business. It all comes down to delivering a level of service people can count on, no matter what.
Real estate challenged me, pushed me to grow and gave me the chance to build a business that has a real impact. I love the people, the problem-solving and the constant variety, but what matters most is what this work has made possible for our family.
My husband and I have four kids and because I run my own business, I have the flexibility to stay very involved in their lives. That balance is something I never take for granted. I’m proud of the hard work we’ve put into creating the life we wanted. It took plenty of risks, challenges and trial and error, but every step was worth it to get here.
Outside of work, I love being involved in my kids’ activities, whether it’s cheering them on at games or supporting their interests. I also have horses, so I’m very active in the equestrian community and spend a lot of time riding in the desert and working with horses.
My specialties in real estate include helping clients relocate, upsize, downsize, or even find the right equestrian property. With over 16 years of experience, I have extensive market knowledge, negotiation expertise and a hands-on approach to every transaction. For sellers, I offer full-service listing preparation, including professional photography, 3D virtual tours and drone footage through my own company, Theia 3D Photography. I also assist with custom staging, compelling descriptions and targeted marketing to ensure your home stands out. Over the years, I also built a trusted network of stagers, lenders, escrow officers and repair people who met the high standards of service I expect for my clients.
For buyers, I provide a curated experience. I preview homes, record walkthroughs and help narrow down options so clients can focus on the best-fit properties, especially helpful for relocations or tight schedules. My goal is always to save you time while maximizing results. Whether you’re buying or selling, you’ll get clear communication, honest advice and dedicated service from start to finish. Even after the transaction is over, I’m committed to staying in touch and offering support with anything you may need in the future as your REALTOR® for life.
Sincerely,

Vivian Freitas
